The Lady Mountaineers hit the west coast hard over the Thanksgiving holiday and managed to break even in the Menlo College Classic in Atherton, CA.

On November 24, the ladies beat the tenth ranked Menlo College women’s basketball team by a score of 99-84.

The Lady Mountaineers shot 42 percent from behind the three-point line and hit 20 of 53 shots during the game. Junior forward Sarah Hughes led the team with 24 points. Candy Walls also scored in double digits as she scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

The following day, BC succumbed to Concordia University, 71-94.

On November 30 and December 1, Berea College will host the Pepsi Classic, where the ladies will face off against Olivet Nazarene on Friday at 6 pm, and Illinois Tech on Saturday at 2 pm.
