Wandera's consecutive double-doubles in late January and early February earned him the honor of being named the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for January 28-Februrary 3.

Wandera, a 6-9 junior forward from Kampala, Uganda, had 17 points and 17 rebounds in the win over Indiana University East. Earlier in the week he put together a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a win over preseason favorite Asbury College.

Wandera is in the top 10 in rebounding (offensive and total) in NAIA Division II.

The Mountaineers next game is at home against Boyce College on Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
