LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 23rd, 2008) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for September 15th- September 21st in Cross Country and Women’s Tennis.

Men's Runner of the Week: Antonio Marchi , Berea College

Antonio Marchi was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Runner of the Week for September 15th-21st. Marchi ran a 27:19 and was the fastest KIAC Runner at the Berea College Invitational. He placed 5th out of 100 runners at the meet.

Women's Runner of the Week: Ashley Miller, Brescia University

Ashley Miller was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week for September 15th-21st. Miller is a freshman. She ran a 20:20 time on Berea's course at the school's Invitational meet. She was the fastest KIAC Runner at the meet.

Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Britta Oliver, Indiana University Southeast

Britta Oliver was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for September 15th-21st. Oliver is a junior from Bedford, Indiana (Bedford North Lawrence) and plays Number one singles and doubles in the match against Midway. She won 6-4, 6-2 over Midway's Jessica Kutch and teamed up with Brooklyn Becher to win 8-1 over Midway's top doubles team.
