The Berea College women's softball team defeated Alice Lloyd College on April 29, winning 10-0 and 12-0.

The team cheered for joy after Erica hit the Grand Slam

In the first game, while BC pitcher Makenzie Wells threw powerful pitches in route to a shutout, Erica Redmon sparked the offense with a grand slam. "I was very happy to get a good hit," said Redmon.

Daisha Crabtree also pitched well while throwing a shutout in the second game.

This game was the Lady Mountaineers last home game, but the team will play their first conference game against Bethel at Midway College on May 6. If they win the conference tournament, they will advance to the regional tournament in Athens, Tennessee.
