“Mountie Days” a student-produced video news program debuted September 17. Hosted by Berea students Marc Leslie and Kina Estill, the first episode of Mountie Days focuses on the latest happenings at Berea along with regular features like a “Learning, Labor & Service” spotlight that looks at Berea’s core programs –in a fun and casual format.
In this first edition Mountie Days focuses on exciting happenings on and off Berea’s campus this summer, including a play written and produced by senior CeDarian Crawford; the Upward Bound session; and how Berea students are working with citizens in eastern Kentucky to increase tourism opportunities. The next show will have a “new year” theme.
New episodes are planned every couple of weeks. Each episode will be featured on BCnow and archived on our YouTube channel. As we continue to shape this work in progress, tell us your ideas for stories and send your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
