Jan. 27: Pianist Andrea Anderson will perform a piano recital in Gray Auditorium of Berea College on Wednesday evening, January 27 at 8 p.m.

The recital is free of charge and open to the public.
Ms. Anderson’s program will include the "Prelude and Fugue in C# minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach, the "Sonata in F major" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the "Sonatine" (1905) by Maurice Ravel, and several short works by Frederic Chopin.
Andrea Anderson , a concert pianist from Los Angeles, studied piano at the Manhattan School of Music, Columbia University in New York City and the University of Southern California. She earned her Ph.D. at the Claremont Graduate University. She has performed in the United States, China, Sweden, Finland, and Lithuania. Recent US performances have included several major universities and also the Palm Springs Desert Museum. She has performed twice before at Berea College, once as a Convocation artist, and once in a recital sponsored by the Music Department.
