The retirees were welcomed and congratulated by President Larry Shinn at the annual retirement reception on May 12.

BC says 'Goodbye' to 16 retirees

The stage in the Woods-Pennimen Commons was decorated with the portraits and gift that each retiree would receive. Thanks to BC Woodcraft and Weavers, each retiree received either a specially designed clock or throw that cannot be found in any store. Accompanying those gifts was a small plague engraved with the name of the retirees and their names and Berea College.
