The Young Alumni Advisory Council |
This volunteer organization supports the College and its young alumni by providing vision, guidance and direction for the Young Alumni Program, assisting in fundraising efforts and fostering interactivity among our constituency.
"It is a great opportunity to give back to Berea, and to help students or recent graduates just as each of us were helped at one point in time," explained David Harrison, a member of the Young Alumni Advisory Council.
In November of 2009, the Council took steps to more formally organize. Accordingly, seven new council member positions were developed.
Nominations and applications are accepted year round. The Standing Council will consider applications in May 2010, and will vote prior to the Council’s summer meeting. New members will be seated in July 2010.
Nomination form, position description and application packet are available on the Office of Alumni Relations website (PDF). For basic information about the Council, please visit the Young Alumni Advisory Council Web page.
