FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19

8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Registration at the Information Center, Alumni Bldg. Enter a drawing for a free prize!

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Art Building will be open to visitors. Please come see the Dimitrie Berea Gallery and the Doris Ulmann collection. Doris Ulmann is a well-known photographer of Appalachia from the 1930s.

8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Alumni Relations Executive Council meeting, Woods-Penn Bldg., Commons.

8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Young Alumni Council meeting, Alumni Building, Barton Room.

Mathematics Department 6th Annual Homecoming Alumni Lecture, “Configuration Management, Build and Release Engineering” by Brian Moyers, ’98, Draper Bldg., room 206.

Berea College Jazz Band Concert, Berea Dining Services.

Alumni Awards Banquet, Boone Tavern Dining Room. Alumni Association President, Dr. Steele Mattingly, ‘50 presiding. The Outstanding Young Alumnus Award will be presented to Commander Michael Murphy, ’84, and the Distinguished Alumnus Award will be given to both Dr. Chella David, ’61, and W.M. Davis, ’50.

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Pep Rally in small Seabury Gym. Special performance by Berea Flava, Berea College’s dance team. Students and Alumni are encouraged to participate in the Pep Rally activities.

7:30 p.m.
Black Student Union Homecoming Pageant, Phelps Stokes Chapel. Door will open at 7:00 p.m. Late arrivals are welcome.

8:00 p.m.
Opening on the Main stage is Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses; a re-telling of Ovid’s myths. The Wall Street Journal exclaimed, “Funny one moment, achingly sorrowful the next, Metamorphoses somehow managed both to lift you out of the moment you’re living in and speak to it with piercing directness.” Jelkyl Drama Center, McGaw Theatre. Please make sure to call in advance for reservations and informed them that you’re alum. Reservations can be made by calling the box office at 859-985-3300.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18

Come join the Alumni Worship Service in Union Church where Berea College alumni come together in faith. Rev. Randy Osborne is the Reunion Minister. Rev. Osborne has been working for the College since 1965 and currently serves as a consultant for the Campus Christian Center. Rev. Osborne has been the Director of the Campus Christian Center, Special Assistant to the President, and served as a faculty member at Berea College. Also, during the Alumni Worship Service, special performance by our Alumni Chapel and Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Stephen Bolster.

1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
View the special collection of Doris Ulmann, 1934. Doris Ulmann is a well-known photographer of Appalachia.

Friday and Saturday are filled with other departmental, club, and organizations events. Please stop by the Alumni Relation registration desk to enter into a drawing for a free prize.
