Yes! magazine is featuring the BC Ecovillage in their latest issue. The article showcases the Ecovillage's waste management and energy reduction techniques for more sustainable living.
The article also notes several of the Ecovillage’s components, including more than 40 student-family apartments; the ecological machine that helps reduce the amount of wasted water by recycling it into toilets; the commons house, which serves as both a meeting room and laundry facility; and the Child Development Lab, a teaching and research childcare center for more than 110 children.
The article also addresses BC’s campus-wide commitment to reducing waste by 50 percent through recycling and composting.
