On Senior Night at #25 Berea College, 5-foot-8-inch senior guard Rebecca May scored her 2,000th point and grabbed her 500th rebound while leading the Lady Mountaineers (19-7) to a 117-77 victory over St. Mary of the Woods (Ind.). During the game May set a school record by sinking 11 3-point shots (in 25 attempts). May played 29 minutes and scored 37 points, with 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots. The 37 points ties her career high. She had no turnovers.

With 2,023 points, May is the leading scorer in Berea College history. Last year she set the NAIA-II single-season record by making 159 3-pointers while earning second-team All-America recognition. During her career she has made 457 3-point field goals.
